The shape
A tote with a curved base and a wide top, closed by the plaque, on an adjustable strap rather than handles: the Amelot is carried on the shoulder and short cross-body, and the Mini Amelot cross-body. Unlike the Sévigné and the Marly it is not reinforced to stand rigid; the body is soft and the base holds the shape. It is the bag for someone who finds the box-calf shapes too formal.
