La DoubleJ is the print house I recommend most. J.J. Martin founded it in Milan in 2015 and built it on archival Italian prints, revived with historic Milanese mills and made in Italy. 2. Taller Marmo, for the dramatic kaftan

Also Milan-based, Taller Marmo was founded in 2018 by Yago Goicoechea and Riccardo Audisio. The house took the 1970s kaftan and made it modern, long, fluid, and very glamorous. 3. Zimmermann, for romantic resort

Zimmermann is the Australian name everyone knows. Sisters Nicky and Simone Zimmermann started it in Sydney in 1991, and it grew from swimwear into a full resort house. 4. Alemais, for eclectic embroidery

Alemais is the newcomer, founded in Sydney in 2020 by Lesleigh Jermanus, and it has a craft-forward, slightly bohemian point of view. Expect mixed prints, hand embroidery, and a sustainability focus.
