Rebecca Vallance Fall 2026: The Luxury Handbags Edit

0

Rebecca Vallance has built the Fall 2026 collection around three ideas, and they are unusually easy to separate. There is a black-tie group, a boucle tweed group that runs from dress to jacket to skirt, and a denim group that is quietly the most wearable thing the label makes. Here is what to know, and what to buy first.

The gowns

Four gowns anchor the season and they split neatly into two silhouettes. The Mariya Gown is the statement, cut in a custom metallic rose jacquard with a draped off-the-shoulder neckline, a boned bodice, and a circular maxi skirt. It is the ballroom option, and the jacquard catches light rather than throwing it back, which photographs better than a sequin under a flash.

The Noire pair takes the opposite approach. Both the short-sleeve and long-sleeve versions are bias cut through the maxi skirt, one in a contrast flocked spot lace with a high neckline and short puff sleeves, the other with a cowl neckline and spaghetti straps under a draped cold-shoulder sleeve. Bias cutting is the more forgiving choice through the hip, and these are the gowns we would recommend to anyone who finds a structured column unflattering.

The Beau Long Sleeve Gown sits between the two, worked in embroidered sequin embellishment with sheer long sleeves and diamante at the crew neckline. It is the most covered of the four, which makes it the answer for a winter black tie.

The Meringue tweed group

This is the group to build a wardrobe on, and it is the reason to pay attention to this collection rather than the last. A sequin-embellished boucle tweed with gold trim and pearl and diamante buttons runs across a midi dress, a cropped jacket and an A-line mini skirt.

Bought together, the jacket and skirt read as a suit. Split across a week they stop reading as an occasion at all, and the jacket in particular takes straight-leg denim into a Friday meeting without looking like you tried. If you buy one piece from Fall 2026, buy the jacket.

The denim

Six jeans across three cuts, and the most underrated part of the collection. The Adriana is a relaxed wide leg with a high rise, the Kate is a straight leg, and the Gisele is a high-rise flare. All are cut in cotton, most with a small stretch content, and all carry the same finishing: contrast stitching, a leather patch, and the RV signature button.

They come in indigo, a mid-blue vintage wash, and black. The vintage wash is the one to own if you already have a dark jean. Note that Rebecca Vallance sells denim by inch waist rather than dress size, so a UK 8 takes a 26. Our Rebecca Vallance size guide has the full conversion.

The separates

The Marietta Shirt is the sleeper of the collection, cut in 100% silk with a pearl trim placket, a stand collar, and rouleau loop buttons, and offered in black and cream. It tucks into the Meringue skirt for a full look and works under a blazer on its own terms.

The Kendall Shirt is its denim counterpart, a lightweight cotton shirt with a relaxed fit and a curved hem, and the Kiana Short Sleeve Top is the plain jersey base layer that makes the rest of the wardrobe work.
