Scanlan Theodore’s Spring 2026 collection is the largest single season Luxury Handbags has carried from the Melbourne house: more than 220 pieces, with Crepe Knit in a new pale pink called Angel, Italian denim in a bleached Snow Wash, and a run of silk jacquards in a chain print. These are the pieces the Luxury Handbags editors would buy first, in the order we would buy them.
1. The Crepe Knit crochet pieces in Angel
The season’s story is crochet on Crepe Knit, in a pale pink the brand calls Angel. The crochet crop jacket has a concealed zip and shoulder pads, the ruffle hem skirt falls below the knee, and the crochet singlet has the trim at the neckline. Worn together they are a spring suit. Worn apart, the singlet goes under everything.
2. The Denim Barrel Leg Jean
Italian denim, a high rise, a relaxed barrel leg and an ankle length, sold by inch waist from 22 to 30. It comes in Snow Wash, Pink, Jungle and Tabac this season. The brand’s fit note says the model is 175 cm and wears a 24. This is the jean to wear with a Crepe Knit jacket when the office is not formal.
3. The silk chain jacquard
A chain-link jacquard woven into silk, cut into a wrap dress, a drape dress, a bomber and a bra. The wrap dress in Mink is the one for a wedding, and the bomber in Celery, a bright lime green, is the one that will be photographed. Silk is mild dry clean only.
4. The linen tailoring
Linen pleat tie trousers in Cafe and Oat, with a pleated waist and a self-tie belt, and a linen bomber to match. This is the summer version of the Crepe Knit suit: looser, more relaxed, and made to crease a little. Wear the trousers with a Crepe Knit singlet and the bomber over the shoulders.
5. The gowns
For evening, the Turban Gown in Garnet Rose and the Taffeta Draped Gown in Amethyst carry the house’s gathered turban neckline into floor length. The Tinsel Tulle Gown in black is the top of the range. All three arrive in small numbers and are sized AU, which reads the same as UK.
6. The everyday shirts
Parachute cotton shirts in white, pink and stripes, with a point collar and a regular fit, and the Crepe Knit poppy shirt with covered buttons. These are the pieces that make the rest of the wardrobe work, and the ones to buy two of.
Sizing and delivery
Scanlan Theodore sizes in AU, which is the same as UK. An AU 8 is a UK 8 and a US 4. The collection runs true to size, with the denim cargo cuts the one place the brand recommends sizing down.
