Logistics & Returns Protocol
The framework for global movement. Understanding how The Protocol delivers your assets and how to navigate returns.
1. Outbound Shipping
Luxury Handbags operates a global “Blind Network” of logistics partners. Your item may ship from London, Milan, Melbourne or Dubai depending on the Partner Node holding the inventory.
- Carriers: We utilize DHL Express and FedEx International Priority exclusively.
- Insurance: All shipments are insured for 110% of their value until the moment of signature.
- Signature Required: For security, we do not deliver to P.O. Boxes or leave packages unattended.
2. Customs, Duties & Refusal Protocol
For most regions, Luxury Handbags ships on a Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU) basis. The customer is the “Importer of Record” and is legally responsible for all local levies.
Refusal to Pay Protocol
If you refuse to pay the required import duties/taxes upon delivery, or if you refuse to accept the package:
- Automatic Return & Deduction: The courier will automatically return the parcel to our Global Hub. Luxury Handbags will deduct the following from your refund:
- Original Shipping Cost
- Return Shipping Cost (often higher than outbound)
- Import Duties/Taxes charged to us upon re-entry
- A $50 USD Administrative Penalty
- Total Forfeiture (Negative Value): If the costs listed above exceed the value of the merchandise, the item will be abandoned and destroyed by the carrier. In this specific case, you will forfeit 100% of your payment, and no refund will be issued.
*By placing an order, you explicitly authorize these deductions in the event of delivery refusal.
3. The Return Window
We accept returns within 14 days of the delivery date. To be eligible for a refund, your item must meet the following strict criteria:
- Condition: Unworn, unwashed, and undamaged.
- Security Tag: The Luxury Handbags Security Tag must be attached and intact. If removed, the return is void.
- Exclusions: Items on sale, jewellery, swimwear, and intimate items are final sale and neither returnable nor exchangeable.
- Please submit your return through our return center within 5 days of delivery to ensure it falls within the 14-day return window.
4. Refunds & Processing
Once your return reaches our hub, please allow 3-5 business days for our Authentication Team to inspect the item.
- Refund Method: Issued to the original payment method.
- Deductions: Original shipping costs and a flat Return Processing Fee (calculated at checkout) will be deducted.
- Timing: Depending on your bank, funds may take up to 10 business days to appear in your account.
