The Casablanca wardrobe, and how to build one

The prints start as paintings, so they behave like paintings. One printed piece per outfit is the rule, and everything else stays quiet. A scenic silk shirt wants flat sandals and a plain trouser. A gradient swimsuit wants a solid overshirt. When you put two prints together the eye stops reading either of them.

Sizing

Casablanca sizes to the European ladder. Womenswear runs EU 32 to EU 46, and the conversion is straightforward.

Two cautions. The house cuts most womenswear slim, so a relaxed piece is a deliberate choice rather than the default. And the collaboration pieces, including the Ladurée capsule, are made on a unisex block that runs to menswear measurements. On those, most women take one size down.
