SIMKHAI is an American Contemporary Luxury label based in Los Angeles, United States, founded in 2010 by Jonathan Simkhai. The house is known for sculptural construction and hand-worked detail. The studio takes its cues from architecture, so the construction carries the design and the hand finishing sits on top of a clean line. The label won the CFDA and Vogue Fashion Fund in 2015 and was an early inductee to the CFDA Incubator, the industry programme that backs emerging American designers. Jonathan Simkhai showed his first womenswear collection in New York and moved the studio to Los Angeles in 2018, where the atelier and showroom remain.
