Designer Effie Kats is a third-generation maker who learned the trade in her family’s tailoring workroom, where her father and grandmother between them count more than fifty years in the industry. She launched her namesake label in April 2018 after five years running Zachary the Label, and built it first on made-to-measure power suits and gowns before adding the ready-to-wear you see here.
