JW PEI is a Los Angeles fashion label founded in 2018 by Yang Pei and Stephanie Li, a husband and wife who set out to make a vegan fashion brand that modern women could afford without giving up on design. The house works almost only in animal-free materials, and part of its fabric is certified as made from recycled plastic bottles. It became known through its bags: the ruched Gabbi hobo was photographed on Irina Shayk, Emily Ratajkowski, Hailey Bieber, Gigi Hadid and Megan Fox soon after its launch, and the Joy, the Eva, the Lily, the Abacus and the Hana followed it.
