Cecilie Bahnsen at a Glance

Cecilie Bahnsen trained at the Royal Danish Academy and took an MA at the Royal College of Art in London. She worked at John Galliano as a print designer and first-line assistant, then as a design assistant at Erdem, before opening her own studio in Copenhagen in 2015. She won the DANSK Design Talent Award in 2016 and reached the LVMH Prize final in 2017. The house is best known for its matelassé and broderie anglaise dresses and for their volume.
