Emilia Wickstead Autumn Winter 2026: The Luxury Handbags Edit
Emilia Wickstead showed Autumn Winter 2026 at London Fashion Week in February, and the collection is now in store. It is a season of British cloth: Prince of Wales check, birdseye suiting, boucle and flocked check sit beside the house’s printed mikado and a run of velvet for evening. Luxury Handbags carries 54 new pieces from the season in the Emilia Wickstead edit.
The collection at a glance
- 30 dresses, from the mini Wichita to the floor length Malinda in gold jacquard.
- Tailoring: jackets, trousers and skirts in check, birdseye suiting and grain leather, cut to be worn as suits.
- Knitwear: cashfeel cardigans and long cable skirts.
- Shoes: the Grenda tassel loafer, made with Grenson in England.
Five stories from the season
1. Breezy Poppy mikado
The season’s print is a loose, painterly poppy on structured mikado, in three colourways: red and black, mustard and blue, and chocolate and lilac. It runs from the Celeste shirt dress to the Cyralisse with its folded off the shoulder neckline, and onto the Lorelei pencil skirt.
2. Prince of Wales check
The classic British suiting check appears in black and camel on the Sorrel Jacket and Alix Trouser, and in black and white on the Thea and Emilienne Top. More in our Emilia Wickstead tailoring guide.
3. Red, in three cloths
Red birdseye suiting on the Aelin Jacket and Zeus Skirt, red floral cloque on the Mara and Megara, and red duchess satin on the strapless Keeley.
4. Velvet for evening
Black velvet on the Birch and Regina, green velvet on the Camilla, Nodin and Eagle. See the velvet dress guide.
5. Leather and knit
Black grain leather becomes a cropped Aelin Jacket and a Mavis pencil skirt. Forest green cashfeel becomes a cable Milo jumper with a matching Koda skirt.
Five pieces to buy first
1. Mara Dress in Red Floral Cloque
The house shape in its season colour. Wear it to a winter wedding with a long coat.
2. Sorrel Jacket in Black & Camel Prince of Wales Check
A single breasted jacket that works with the matching trouser and over everything else you own.
3. Harlow Dress in Silver Metallic Cloque
The party dress of the season, with a sculptural folded neckline and pockets in the skirt.
4. Aelin Jacket in Black Grain Leather
A cropped leather jacket with a rounded collar, sharp enough for the office.
5. Grenda Loafer in Black Leather
The Grenson collaboration loafer, handmade in England, to wear with all of the above.
Sizing for the season
Emilia Wickstead cuts ready to wear in UK 4 to UK 18. On the house chart a UK 10 is a US 6, an Italian 42 and a French 38, and the knitwear runs XS to XL. See the Emilia Wickstead size guide for bust, waist and hip measurements.
How the collection fits together
The season is built to be worn in sets. Every tailoring cloth has a jacket and a skirt, and most have a dress too: red birdseye runs from the Aelin Jacket and Zeus Skirt to the Lucciene Dress; black and white Prince of Wales check runs from the Emilienne Top to the Caliste and Thea dresses. Buy one piece now and add the matching one later.
