Cecilie Bahnsen x Asics

The longest-running of the three, and the reason the name travels. Bahnsen has reworked several Asics silhouettes, including the GT-2160, the GEL-KINETIC FR, the GEL-QUANTUM 360 and a Mary Jane treatment that reads as the most Bahnsen thing in the series.

The method is consistent: take a technical running shoe, then apply the studio’s decorative language to it. Floral appliques, quilting, ribbon, colours lifted from the ready-to-wear. The shoes are recognisably Asics underneath, which is the point.

These sell through Asics and the brand’s own site, and they sell out. If you are reading this because a pair is gone, the main-line equivalent of that instinct is a quilted piece in the same palette from the Cecilie Bahnsen collection.

Cecilie Bahnsen x Uniqlo

Launched 22 May 2026 under the title Shapes of Poetry. Eight womenswear silhouettes, graphic tees, frilled tanks, ruffled dresses and light skirts, in cotton and stretch fabrics, sized XXS to XXL from USD 29.90. It also carried Bahnsen’s first childrenswear, a five-piece girls’ range.

This is the most accessible the aesthetic has ever been, and it is a genuinely good introduction to the shapes. What it is not is the same product. The Uniqlo pieces are light cottons and jerseys; the main line is matelasse, broderie anglaise and silk, cut with couture construction. The difference is in the hand of the cloth more than the drawing.

Outerwear and bags, including a Base Camp duffel and technical shells treated with the studio’s floral detailing. There have been several drops across SS26 and AW25. Of the three collaborations this is the one whose logic is closest to the main line, because the AW26 collection carries its own technical nylon jackets and anoraks.
