3. Rowan Ruched Drawstring Chain Bucket Bag in Black, $310
The bucket bag, gathered by a drawstring and carried on a chain strap. It holds a phone, a compact and a scarf and is the travel bag of the range.
4. Lucia Classic Faux Suede Top Handle Bag in Taupe, $280
The structured top-handle bag in the faux suede the brand does so well, with a detachable strap so it goes crossbody. The Lucia is JW PEI’s workhorse silhouette, 43 colourways at Luxury Shoes .
5. Arden Belt Detail East-West Shoulder Bag in Black, $310
An east-west shoulder bag with a belt detail and a 25.5 cm handle drop, the quiet, long-line shape of the year. It takes an iPhone 17 Pro Max.
6. Ellie Metal Ring Embellished Top Handle Bag in Beige, $270
The Ellie is the small top-handle bag with a metal ring at the front, the brand’s answer to the jewellery bag. It goes crossbody on the long strap.
7. Maelle Dachshund Charm Double Handle Bag in Black, $310
A double-handle bag with a dachshund charm, part of the animal line the brand has become known for, and the least serious bag on this list on purpose.

What is new this year
Three things. The faux-suede colourways have spread across the range, so the Hana, the Lucia, the Nala and the Rowan all come in a brushed finish in chocolate, olive and camel, and they are the bags to buy for autumn. The animal line has grown from the dachshund bags into cats, penguins, sharks, pigeons and elephants, half novelty and half jewellery, and it is selling. And the clothing has become a real collection: the floral capsules now run to dozens of dresses each, with gowns, blazers and jeans alongside.
