The Row is the American house that made restraint expensive. Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen founded it in New York in 2006, naming it after Savile Row, and spent the first three years refusing to give an interview about it. Double-faced cashmere is the signature, most of the ready-to-wear is made in Italy, and nothing carries a logo. The cut runs long and full, so sizing is generally true with room to go down for a closer line.
