Christopher Esber founded his label in Sydney in 2010, two years after graduating from the city’s Fashion Design Studio. The house builds from tailoring, then cuts into it. Panels are gathered and suspended, seams stop where you do not expect them to, and a handcrafted brass ring holds the whole thing together where a hidden fastening would normally sit. That ring is the orbit, and it is the fastest way to recognise the label across a room.
