Agua By Agua Bendita

Agua by Agua Bendita is a Colombian resort and ready-to-wear house, founded in Medellín in 2003 by Catalina Álvarez and Mariana Hinestroza. The two friends began by sewing swimsuits from fabric offcuts on a machine that belonged to Catalina’s grandmother, selling first to friends and then to friends of friends. By 2007 they had grown the label into one of the first Colombian fashion names to export abroad, and that scrappy, handmade beginning still shapes the work.
